With Social Web Suite you can automatically add UTM parameters to your links prior to posting. This lets you use Google analytics to track the traffic generated by each marketing campaign easily.
Simply put, UTM parameters tell Google three (or sometimes more) things:
1. Where is the activity coming from?
2. How is it getting here?
Social Web Suite makes it easy on you. All you have to do is click the settings button to add custom UTM parameters. It will open a list of all the previous parameters that you set up or if you haven’t set any up yet, there is a button at the bottom that says “ADD NEW”.
Once you fill out these inputs, you can add this UTM parameter to any URL you want to post. After you paste the URL into your social media post, you can hit the UTM parameter button, and it will automatically be added to your URL.
